It has been said that no individual act of climate stupidity can be tied to climate change. On the other hand, it has been proven that stupidity and climate futility ties to the fossil fuels industry. Exxon/Mobil says Russia booted them out of the country with a complete loss of assets–due to the actions of Herr Putin. So, on the face of it, a maniac and a lack of situational awareness by Exxon/Mobil’s management fosters a huge loss for fossil fuels stockholders. Poor babies. This scheme rests on the notion that Exxon/Mobil did not support Russian barbarism over the last seven months and now Exxon/Mobil is a rat exiting Russia, leaving others with the burdens of war (death, ruins, sickness, and horror) and the multi-generational cleanup. Consequently, I wonder if the leaders of nations on this planet, their judicial systems, or we-the-peasantry will don another shroud of climate stupidity fostered by the fossil fuels companies. Or, with the defeat of nuclear-Russia, does Exxon/Mobil’s horrific collision with civilization fade from our timeline?
