Climate models begin with different assumptions, varying degree of computational adornment, operational constraints, and sometimes different data sets or different cuts at the same data set. The reasoning that follows, will, by nature, force a divergence of the models. Regardless, assuming the models are properly assembled, that divergence, while it opens the door to doubts on specific results, invariably leads to insights resulting from the similar conclusions. In the case of our two climate models above–a storm arrives.
