Another elite homeowner association was embarrassed by the public focus–because the HOA tried to keep their homes safe from the rising ocean. The HOA allocated sand from the neighboring coastline. The resulting media-storm caused a double digit drop in their home values. Can you believe protecting yourself from harm has come to this?
